Sharing a free event from Everstrong: the Seattle premiere of The Right Track
Everstrong invites you to Prevention Begins with Survivor Voices on Monday, November 9 at 6:45 PM at Seattle Central Library, 1000 4th Avenue in Seattle.
The evening features the Seattle premiere of The Right Track: True Survivor Journeys, followed by a panel conversation with Survivor Leaders and Everstrong Program Director Tanya Fernandez. Friends and family are welcome.
The Right Track is an award-winning documentary that shares stories of sex trafficking across North America through the voices of survivors, the people who lived it and are now leading the work to end it. The film won Best Full-Length Documentary at the Block Island Film Festival and the Human Rights Award at the Mystic Film Festival and has screened from Los Angeles to Paris to Dublin. Its message is one Everstrong holds close: “When survivors come together, oppression crumbles.”
This evening was shaped by Everstrong’s Survivor Council. After the film, panelists will talk about what they wish adults had known, what helped, and what real prevention looks like in schools and communities. That is the heart of Everstrong’s work: helping young people build the knowledge and resilience to recognize risk and look out for one another.
Admission is free, but seating is limited. Please reserve seats by Saturday, November 7: https://tinyurl.com/5bmufsar
