This webinar is designed for juvenile and family court judges and court professionals who would like to better understand the purpose and key provisions of the Take It Down Act, including the notice-and-removal requirements which became effective in May. Faculty will discuss the history of image based sexual abuse and the harms that occur as a result of non-consensual publication of intimate images. Faculty will then provide information on the purpose of the Act, the key elements of a charge under the Take It Down Act, platform obligations under the Act’s notice-and removal requirements, and the practical realities of implementing the Act.
