Invisible Offenders: Why Those Who Fuel Sex Trafficking Are Protected

A Capitol Hill Briefing marking the 10-year anniversary of the Justice for Victims of Trafficking Act (JVTA), featuring sex trade survivors and other national and state anti-violence and criminal justice experts from across the US to discuss Rights4Girls' recent report, Buyers Unmasked: Exposing the Men Who Buy Sex & Solutions to End Exploitation. Panelists will also discuss promising practices to end sexual exploitation across communities as well as innovative policy strategies being implemented in various jurisdictions to increase funding for survivors of trafficking and the sex trade, deter sex-buying and sexual violence against women and vulnerable youth, and shift mindsets when it comes to the men purchasing others.
