Two-Spirit and Native LGBTQIA+ individuals are some of the most vulnerable populations to human trafficking. While there is no defining characteristic of a human trafficking victim, traffickers often target victims’ vulnerabilities such as a lack of social support networks and financial or housing insecurity.
