9365 Des Moines Memorial Drive S., Seattle, WA 98108
Training content and discussion will be presented in Spanish!
When non-English speakers are in crisis and reach out for help, they often have a variety of urgent needs. However, it is often difficult to know which organizations offer culturally and linguistically appropriate support to meet those additional needs your agency does not address.
This free community mapping and training event invites all King County providers currently offering services to the community in Spanish to meet and share your expertise with us. We want to hear about the services your program provides, as well as to develop connections and increase opportunities for inter-agency collaboration. With the information obtained, a resource guide of Spanish-speaking service providers will be created and shared with all participants. Presenters from the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office will also provide training on domestic violence, advocacy, protection orders, and the criminal justice process to assist your organization to support survivors more effectively.
See registration link register! Event is open to all who provide services in Spanish.
