This training brought to you by a partnership between King County Superior Court and OPS.
The Beyond Survival Training by Seattle OPS equips participants with the knowledge and tools to identify, respond to, and support youth affected by commercial sexual exploitation (CSEC). Grounded in trauma-informed and survivor-led practices, the training explores the complex dynamics of exploitation—including recruitment tactics, coded language, and the role of systemic inequality—while emphasizing the disproportionate impact on Black and Brown girls. Participants learn to recognize warning signs, challenge harmful narratives, and engage with youth in compassionate, empowering ways. Through education, community collaboration, and consistent support, the training aims to prevent exploitation and foster long-term healing and independence for youth survivors emphasizing the importance of relational based care.
