STAC Third Friday Human Trafficking Webinar

Labor trafficking remains one of the least understood forms of human trafficking, and many survivors experience forced criminality as part of their exploitation. This webinar will explore the scope of labor trafficking in the United States, examine how both children and adults are coerced into criminal activity, and highlight the services, legal remedies, and resources available to support survivors.
The session will also introduce Framework, a federally funded training and technical assistance initiative that helps social service providers and community organizations strengthen their response to labor trafficking by increasing survivor identification, expanding services, and building cross-sector partnerships.
Presenters Florencia Dominguez and Kristina Bailey bring more than a decade of combined experience in anti-trafficking, refugee, and child protection programs, offering practical insights for professionals working to better identify and support survivors.
About the presenters:
Kristina Bailey currently serves as the Program Coordinator for Framework TA - the federally funded labor trafficking training and technical assistance provider. She has been working in the anti-trafficking field for 7 years at both the direct service level and the macro level. Kristina holds both a masters and bachelor's in social work from Florida State University and has been passionate about the field of human rights and anti-trafficking since she was a teenager.
Florencia Dominguez serves as the Anti-trafficking Technical Advisor providing technical assistance and support to International Rescue Committee’s anti-trafficking and child protection (HSPRS) programs across the United States, as well as to a wide array of service providers through the federally funded Framework initiative. She has over 10 years of experience working with anti-trafficking, refugee and unaccompanied children programming as a caseworker and various leadership roles."
