H.O.P.E. for Community Members

REST is offering two free training sessions this month! One for community members and one for direct service staff.

·  H.O.P.E. for Community Members (March 26th, 12:00-1:30 pm, Online) is our free training for community members, educators, and volunteers. This virtual training covers sex trafficking dynamics and volunteer opportunities with REST. Participants will learn about: sex trafficking realities, prevention strategies and education and advocacy. Participants will gain valuable skills and explore various volunteer roles with REST, from outreach to support services.

·  H.O.P.E. Service Providers (March 26th. 6:00-7:30 pm, Online) is our free training for social workers, healthcare professionals, mental health counselors, case managers, shelter staff, legal advocates, and any professional involved in service provision to vulnerable populations. This virtual training equips professionals with essential skills to identify, address, and prevent human trafficking. Participants will learn identification signs, engagement strategies and collaborative opportunities.
