Supporting LGBTQIA+ Survivors of Trafficking, Exploitation, and Survival Sex

How can we better support LGBTQIA+ young people in the sex trade? (it is important to note that young people under the age of 18 cannot consent to engagement in the sex trade and are victims of human trafficking under the law).

In this training, participants will focus on:

·     A brief overview of trafficking, and the most common forms of trafficking that LGBTQIA+ young people often experience

·     Some fundamental protections and supports for LGBTQIA+ young people in the sex trade

·     Steps you can take toward making your court, agency, or organization safer and more affirming for LGBTQIA+ young people in the sex trade.
