NWIRP will be hosting a T Visa Training in January, to coincide with Human Trafficking Awareness Month.  The training is primarily geared towards the private bar, in the hope of training some new Pro Bono attorneys and referring out some cases.  But we will also open it up to our nonprofit colleagues who want to learn more about Ts.  

The training will start at 10:00 am on January 27, 2026 and will cover:

--The latest updates from the current administration.

--Enhanced safety planning.

--T Visas and other immigration relief available to trafficking survivors.

--Consular processing.

--Adjustment of status based on T nonimmigrant status

--Trauma-Informed Advocacy

--Confidentiality provisions

--Benefits for survivors of trafficking
