WashACT Information Session

The session will be held virtually on Tuesday May 6 from 1:30pm - 3pm. If anyone in your network could benefit from a presentation on the role of WashACT and multidisciplinary collaboration to serve survivors of human trafficking, they can register here! I'm also including a flyer with the remaining dates and registration links for WashACT info sessions in 2025.

The info session starts with a brief introduction to the issues of labor and sex trafficking to ensure that all participants have a common understanding of these terms.  However, this is not an introductory human trafficking course so our focus quickly shifts to explaining what WashACT is, describing what a collaborative response to human trafficking can look like, and illustrating how you might go about collaborating with other WashACT agencies like the Washington Anti-Trafficking Response Network, the Seattle Police Department, the US Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Washington, and many more.

The WashACT info session is required for all individuals hoping to apply to join the task force, and membership operates on an individual basis.  Folks are also welcome to attend simply for information's sake!
