“Creative Connections is a healing space offering by the YWCA Gender-Based Violence Specialized Services Department for survivors of gender-based violence– and members of the community at large– to build community with one another through artistic expression. Events take place on the last Friday of each month in the Central District, Seattle.

Our upcoming event, In My Bag, will take place on May 30, 2025,  from 6:00-8:00 PM! We will be decorating tote bags to honor the processes of awakening to love and embodying our true and authentic selves. All supplies for this activity will be provided.

We ask that you share this event with any clients, organizations, and community member in your network. Although on-site childcare will not be provided, children are welcome to attend and participate in the activity. The event organizers will not be facilitating group discussions surrounding explicit themes related to gender-based violence.

 Please note that the specific location of the event is not identified on the flyer, and that the address of the venue will be provided to folks upon RSVP.
