Last year, we gathered together as community-based and system-based advocates to connect, learn from each other, and strategize on how to serve survivors better. It was amazing to see your enthusiasm for this work and your desire to build community with each other!

What to Expect: 

·         A 'Speed-Networking' activity

·         Presentations on different types of orders: What’s the Difference?: NCO’s, Civil PO’s and Family Law Restraining Orders This presentation offers a general overview of the different types of orders that provide safety provisions and protection. This presentation will identify the various orders, how they’re different and similar, and the unique processes for obtaining and removing each order.  Helpful handouts will also be provided.

·         DV/GBV Support Groups 101: join us for a short presentation about support groups, their purpose, structure. and who provides them in our community.

Snacks, sweets, and coffee/tea will be provided. CART and ASL interpreters available.
