The Lantern Project is excited to announce our upcoming SPRING 2022 Youth Leadership Board session! YLB is a program for youth (ages 13-18), led by youth, to create and develop community projects that fight trafficking, violence, and exploitation through preventative efforts, connection, and social justice education! The previous fall/winter session worked on learning legislative advocacy strategy, and art activism through zine creation. The possibilities are endless and we're in search of youth who want to take part!
Spring session will begin on March 2nd and meet every other week, along with workshops and discussion sessions. Meetings start between 4 and 5pm and last from an hour to an hour and a half. All meetings will take place VIRTUALLY.
Any youth ages 13-18 who live in King County or the greater Western Washington area are encouraged to apply. Follow the link in the QR code to access the form! Participants commit to doing two hours of work per week to meet project goals agreed upon by the team.
Orientation will be held in the week leading up to the first meeting on March 2nd so please sign up now!
