This YOUTH-ONLY event will be held on May 10th, 2021, from 6:00pm-7:00pm EST.
Adults, please share with youth and youth, please attend and share with your peers!
Join young people from around the country to discuss how to adapt and grow as a young person in an ever-changing society. Whether you want to discuss mental health, academics during a pandemic, COVID-19 vaccinations, or racial tension, this is a forum designed to hear YOUR voice. Our “normal” is constantly evolving, and we have as well. If you are between the ages of 14 and 22, we want you to be a part of this peer-sharing forum. We want to hear your voice; we want to listen to your experiences; we want you to be represented!
The goals of “Youth Have Thoughts Too: Our Lives Have Changed & So Have We” are to connect young people to support one another through the turmoil of this public health crisis, the horrifying events taking place across our country, the historical and present-day racial injustice, and the toll all of it is taking on our communities. We recognize the need for communication and connection among young people and look forward to hearing your reflections, insight, and ideas on adapting and moving forward in an uncertain world.
