We invite you and your colleagues to attend a briefing on rampant criminality on Pornhub (owned by MindGeek, with offices/servers in the US). Pornhub has profited by distributing child sexual abuse material (CSAM); videos of rape and assault; and non-consensually recorded/uploaded intimate material.

As Nicholas Kristof, New York Times, reported in “The Children of Pornhub,” (12/4/20), victims who contact the company to remove illegal material are mocked. An online petition has garnered over 2.2 million signatures to shut down Pornhub for aiding sex trafficking. Multiple class action and civil lawsuits have been filed.

On March 15, 2021 over 70 Canadian Senators and MPs called on the Royal Canadian Mounted Police to initiate a full investigation into MindGeek. It is time the US does the same.

Congress must get involved because NO ONE is enforcing the law against deeply harmful, illegal practices. Survivors and experts will explain more on April 8. Please let us know if you have questions.

Please circulate widely and thank you in advance for attending this online briefing!
