Webinar- Human Trafficking and Domestic Violence: Incorporating Culturally Responsive Approaches for Latin@ Survivors

The Family and Youth Services Bureau (FYSB), in collaboration with Casa De Esperanza, invites you to join the webinar, Human Trafficking and Domestic Violence: Incorporating Culturally Responsive Approaches for Latin@ Survivors.

Intimate partner violence and human trafficking intersect in many ways, especially among vulnerable populations. It is critical to identify Latin@ survivors of domestic violence and sex or labor trafficking by using screening tools that incorporate a culturally relevant approach.

This interactive webinar will discuss culturally relevant approaches to identify and serve Latin@ survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking. Additionally, participants will be introduced to the new resource Human Trafficking Screening Tool and Resource Guide for Latin@s Accessing Domestic Violence Programs. These new resources provide information on human trafficking of Latin@s in the U.S.; the intersections of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking; and the organizational preparedness for conducting a screening process.
