Combatting Human Trafficking

Institute of Museum and Library Services Webinar:

Combatting Human Trafficking

Thursday, March 11

2:00 – 3:00 p.m. Eastern

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) invites library and museum employees to participate in our webinar on Thursday, March 11, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Eastern.

Subject matter experts from Blue Campaign will share information about anti-human trafficking efforts, and training and partnership opportunities, to highlight how libraries and museums can assist in protecting victims and help educate the public. We will end with a question-and-answer session.

Blue Campaign is a national public awareness campaign, designed to train the public on how to recognize the indicators of human trafficking, and how to appropriately respond to possible cases.

Located within the Department of Homeland Security’s Office of Partnership and Engagement, Blue Campaign leverages partnerships with the private sector, non-governmental organizations, law enforcement, and state/local authorities to maximize national public engagement on anti-human trafficking efforts.

We are presenting this webinar as part of the federal partnership with the Institute of Museum and Library Services to provide citizenship and immigration information to library and museum professionals.
