The Cross Agency Systems Training (CAST) for adults is designed to be a general overview of local social systems serving adults in King County. Participants will learn whom each system serves, goals of current programs, services available to consumers, as well as how to access these services. The training is designed for community social service staff, consumers, families or anyone else wishing to become more familiar with systems and services in King County. Systems represented include: Mental Health, Substance Abuse, Crisis Services, Police, Adult Protective Services, Probation and Mental Health Courts, Housing, Developmental Disabilities, Vocational Rehabilitation, Veteran’s Services, Public Health and DSHS Financial Assistance.
